Oleg Gryb is Product Security at Block Inc. working in security automation, detection, threat analysis, and security engineering domains. He was previously Chief Security Architect at Visa Inc. and Sr. Manager and de-facto CISO of Samsung’s IoT platform called Artik Cloud. Before that he worked as Security Architect at Intuit, creating architecture for mission-critical financial and business applications. Gryb created software in security, data protection, identity management, multi-factor authentication, and other domains.

He has a lot of passion for embedding security in all SDLC stages, threat modeling, and enforcing security in web service fabric, security tools, cloud, IoT, and mobile security. He’s also interested in building data protection solutions based on security appliances and researching new multi-party computation approaches to cryptography and collaboration on private data.

Gryb authored patents in the area of secure data access in Cloud, IoT security, and multi-party computations, co-authored new PCI standards such as SPoC and PCI Secure Software Standard, and presented his work at multiple conferences such as OWASP, RSA, IoT DevCon, etc.
